Zelda Landau, Director of the National Light & Sound Therapy Centre.
Mrs. Zelda Landau, the Director of the Centre started her career as a teacher, but on the birth of a learning disabled son, began studying in earnest, and took a range of Open University courses related to brain injury, education, sociology, psychology etc. She started a parent group of families with children with disabilities and founded a Charity which provides a range of services for learning disabled children and adults. She now manages two Registered Residential Homes, three Supported Housing projects, a Day Programme and club and leisure services for disabled adults and children. In between these efforts, she opened the National Light & Sound Therapy Centre, which has now treated over 1500 since 1992.
Dr. Michael Wetzler, Medical Advisor to the National Light & Sound Therapy Centre
Dr. Michael Wetzler, MBBS.DCH, DRCOG completed a degree in Mathematics & Philosophy at Cambridge, after which he went to Medical School and obtained a degree in Paediatrics & Gynaecology. He became the principal doctor and therapy director of The Bristol Cancer Help Centre (now called the Penny Brohn Centre). He co-founded the South African Complementary Medical Association until 2003, when he became the lead doctor in The Breakspear Hospital, which focusses on holistic and nutritional approached to chronic disease. In 2005 he became the lead GO in a local National Health Surgery and since then has worked privately at the Hill Medical Centre in North London. Being interested in the work of the National Light & Sound Therapy Centre, he agreed to be part of the Board of Advisors of the Centre and is available for private consultations.
